Description
The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers from a wide variety of disciplines to discuss the latest advances in our understanding of ice-matter interactions and the role they play in diverse phenomena, ranging from ice nucleation and growth to ice adhesion and recrystallization. A particular focus of this meeting will be on understanding how interactions at the molecular scale shape the behavior of ice at the macroscopic scale.
Important
We wish to ensure an intimate workshop setting, with no more than 20 to 25 participants. If you are interested in attending but have not received an invitation, please contact the workshop organizer before registering.
Schedule
The workshop will run from Tuesday (June 22nd) morning until Saturday (June 26th) noon/afternoon.
Sessions typically run from mornings to late afternoons, with a few free mornings/afternoons for hiking or mountain biking. The workshop will also include discussions of emerging/timely issues in the field of ice-matter interactions.
